Digest a channel's new uploads

Catch up on everything a YouTube channel published lately in one read: what each video covers, with links to the moments that matter.

The prompt

Paste it into your agent and replace the parts in angle brackets. The agent needs SocialTap: connect it with the MCP server or an API key.

Prompt
Give me a digest of what the YouTube channel <handle or channel link> published since <date>.

Fetch the channel, then its uploads, newest first, and stop paging once the videos are older than <date>. Fetch the transcript of each new video.

Then write, for each video, newest first:
- Its title, publish date and link.
- What it covers, in two or three sentences.
- The most useful moments, each with a timestamped link.

End with the topics that came up in more than one video, and anything that changed in the channel's direction.

Get the data from SocialTap. If the SocialTap MCP server is connected, use its tools; otherwise call the REST API at https://staging.socialtap.dev with the API key from the SOCIALTAP_API_KEY environment variable in the x-api-key header. Read https://staging.socialtap.dev/docs/agents/index.md before the first call. The endpoints, by ID:
